Important information has been revealed in the Chhangur Baba case in Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh. With the help of foreign funding, the main accused who was operating a big conversion syndicate is just seventh pass. Along with this, there are two other accused. Despite this, the accused have created a big network from the funding of crores and property deal, which is now being investigated by the ATS.
The main characters of conversion syndicate are the three names- Jamaluddin alias Chhangur Baba, Naveen Rohra alias Jamaluddin and Neetu Rohra alias Nasreen. Together these three made Utraula town on the Indo-Nepal border the center of their operation. It was from here that the entire network of conversion was prepared.
According to sources, foreign funding of crores was done in this network, which purchased expensive property from Pune to Balrampur. The surprising thing is that the educational qualification of these three is only up to seventh grade. This information has come out from the passport details received by Aaj Tak.

According to the details recorded on the passport, Neetu Rohra alias Nasreen was born on 11 August 1982. Educational Qualification- Seventh Pass. Validity is written on 30 June 2024 in this passport. Similarly, the birth date of Naveen Rohra alias Jamaluddin is recorded on 8 June 1979. His educational qualification is also up to seventh grade. The validity of Naveen Rohra’s passport is 30 July 2026. Neetu and Naveen’s minor daughter, whose name has been named Sabiha after conversion, has also studied till the seventh. The validity of this passport is till 17 January 2028.
According to sources, the roots of this network are spread not only in Balrampur but also around other districts of the state and Nepal border. Chhangur Baba is considered the mastermind of this network, he also studied till seventh. The STF investigation revealed that he went to Dubai in the year 2018, but his passport has not been recovered yet nor his passport number has been revealed. The teams of ATS and STF are engaged in the investigation of this entire syndicate.
Despite being less educated, the manner in which Chhangur Baba and Rohra family gathered funds from abroad are a very serious matter. Now the question is, how and through what mediums did these people get so much help from abroad? Its investigation has become a challenge for agencies.
