Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar will visit China next week to attend a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to be held in Tianjin city of China. This official announcement was made by China’s Foreign Ministry on Saturday. A spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Saturday that the Council of Foreign Ministers of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will be held in Tianjin on 15 July. Which will include the Foreign Minister of member countries and heads of permanent bodies of the organization on the invitation of China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
S. In this visit of Jaishankar, he will not only participate in the meeting, but will also hold bilateral talks in Beijing. This will be Jaishankar’s first visit to China after the 2020 Galwan struggle, when there was a lot of tension in India-China relations.
