Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday (July 12, 2025) on the ruling Marxist Communist Party of Communist Party (CPI -M) -Left Left Democratic Front (LDF) and opposition Congress -led United Democratic Front (UDF), targeted both the governments of both the fronts, promoting corruption only, the politics of satisfaction, and the Kerala of Kerala and the Kerala to the Kerala, PFI of India (PFI) Made a refuge for ‘anti-national forces’.
Addressing party workers here, Shah said that only the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) -led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) can bring development in the state, not LDF or UDF. Without the development of southern states, ‘developed India’ is not possible and the path of ‘developed India’ goes through ‘developed Keralam’ only.
Only BJP can develop Kerala
Shah said, ‘Therefore, from now on, the basic objective of BJP will be’ developed Keralam ‘. There cannot be development in Kerala without BJP. In support of its claim, the Union Minister said that the Modi government has dedicated projects such as a port of thousands of crores of rupees to the state, has added 11 districts through two Vande Bharat trains and has currently increased the railway budget for Kerala from Rs 372 crore to Rs 3,700 crore.
He claimed that the Modi government has spent many times more money on Kerala than the previous Congress governments. It will release detailed figures through the party’s state office. It is more important for the BJP to ensure that the party office in the state becomes the center of ‘developed Keralam’ in the state. Shah also released the ‘logo’ of the party’s ‘developed Keralam’ mission.
Target on opposition also
He targeted the CPI (M)-led LDF and the Congress-led UDF, alleging that the two coalition governments only promoted corruption, made appeasement politics and Kerala a safe haven for ‘anti-national forces’ like PFI.
Shah said that the Central Government declared PFI and its allies illegal in 2022. The Kerala government has all the rights to ban PFI. He questioned why the Kerala government did not do this.
PM Modi prevented organizations from growing
The Union Home Minister said, “When this organization spread to different parts of the country, Prime Minister Modi decided to ban it and ensured that its top leaders were arrested.” Shah said this while addressing a huge gathering of party workers and supporters at a ward level leadership meeting held at Puthrikandam Maidan here.
He said, ‘CPI (M) and Congress calls BJP as North Indian Party, but we formed governments in many states like Assam and Tripura, which were strongholds of opposition parties and similarly their party will come to power in Tamil Nadu.’
Preparations started from now on the upcoming election of Kerala
Shah said that the vote percentage of BJP -led NDA in Kerala has increased from 2014 and the alliance will contest the 2026 assembly elections in the state with the intention of forming the government. He urged the party workers present at the meeting to ensure that the BJP -led NDA got more than 25 percent of the votes in the upcoming local body elections in Kerala.
The Union Minister said, ‘If you really want change, then vote for the BJP -led NDA. Only that can create ‘developed Keralam’. Both BJP and CPI-M are cadre-based parties, but a big difference between them is that their party works for the development of the state, not for its cadre.
Shah remembered all scams
The Union Minister said that during the LDF government, there were many financial scams like Cooperative Bank scam, AI camera scam, life mission scam, K-FON scam, PPE-Cut scheme. He alleged that not only this, a state sponsored gold smuggling scam that harassed Vijayan (Chief Minister Pinaray), which is India’s biggest scam.
Shah said that UDF is also no less, because during his rule there were many scams like solar and Palarivattam, but there was no such financial scam in the 11 -year rule of the Modi government. Shah inaugurated the new office of the BJP’s state committee ‘Mararji Bhavan’ here before launching the party’s campaign for the local body elections to be held this year and next year’s assembly elections.
