The central government has released the results of the Cleanliness Survey-2024. In this, Bhopal has secured second place across the country. Bhopal was ranked 5th last year. At the same time, Ahmedabad has got the first place by leaving all the cities behind and Lucknow jumped from the 44th position.

Bhopal Municipal Corporation has received an invitation to attend the program to be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. President Draupadi Murmu will award the top cities in New Delhi on July 17. The official announcement will be there.

Here, the Bhopal Municipal Corporation may have been patting its back on the second place, but the truth is that this time we were not even competing with the cleanest cities.

12 cities like Indore, Surat, in ‘Super Cleanliness League In fact, every year some cities in different categories (more than 50 thousand population, more than 10 lakh population etc.) were constantly in the top-3. This was limited to the competition for other cities.

Therefore, this time the central government had put 12 cities like Indore, Surat, Navi Mumbai in separate category ‘Super Cleanliness League’. A day earlier, it was included in the list to 15 cities.

Now their evaluation and award will be different from the main competition, so that other cities also get an opportunity to improve the ranking. Despite this, Bhopal could neither make a place in the Cleanliness League, nor could it come in the first place.

5 cities of MP will also get awards Bhopal, Dewas and Shahganj are in the race for the Presidential Awards. Jabalpur has received an invitation for the ministerial category and Gwalior for the State Level Award.

Indore, Budni and Ujjain in Super League From Madhya Pradesh to Indore, Ujjain and Budni is in Superlig. Ujjain is the home district of CM Mohan Yadav, while Budni has been the area of former CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
