Woman was infamous by making pornographic videos from AI, Assam police arrested accused

A person was arrested for tampering with pictures of a woman in Tinsukia district of Assam and making pornographic videos on social media through artificial Medha (AI). A senior police officer gave this information on Sunday (July 13, 2025).

Senior Superintendent of Police (in -charge) of Dibrugarh, Sisal Aggarwal said that a complaint was received by the victim on Saturday (July 12, 2025), alleging that the tampered photos and videos were being used to defame her.

Used a picture with an actor of porn films

He said that the victim was in the news for the last few weeks since the alleged pictures were revealed with an actor of pornographic films. Aggarwal said, ‘We received a complaint on yesterday i.e. Saturday that the picture of the victim was tampered with and her pictures and videos prepared from Artificial Medha (AI) are being broadcast on social media.

Along with this, a page reference was also given on ‘Instagram’ and when we discovered the identity of the owner of the page, we got a phone number, so that we found out the accused. He told, ‘The accused made many pornographic materials from the picture of the victim using artificial intelligence (AI) software. The victim and the accused are old acquaintances and did so for personal reasons.

This work is done for the purpose of harassment

The official said that the mechanical engineer accused by profession was arrested from Tinsukia on Saturday night. The accused initially did this act for the purpose of harassment, but later he started earning money from pornographic material.

He said, “There was a ‘subscription link’ of the material posted by the accused and people had to pay money to see it. The accused earned about 10 lakh rupees through it. He continued to commit crime after getting greed, although he did it to harass the woman initially.”

Action will be taken after examining digital evidence

The official said that many agencies will join the case to investigate digital evidence. The police have seized laptop, mobile phone, hard disk and other items from the accused. Aggarwal also requested people to take care of care while watching online material and before sharing any information on social media.
