Technical fault in Indigo plane going from Delhi to Goa, emergency landing in Mumbai

Indigo flight emergency landing: An Emergency landing has been made in Mumbai on Wednesday (July 16, 2025) from Delhi to Goa. Actually, the flight pilot feared technical fault in the aircraft. After this, the aircraft was launched in Mumbai in an emergency.

According to sources, the Indigo flight pilot sent an emergency signal at 9:25 pm on Wednesday (16 July), after which the flight was diverted towards Mumbai and a safe landing of the aircraft was made at Mumbai airport at 9:42 pm.

According to several flight trackers, an Indigo flight 6E 6271 was to fly to Goa at 7.30 pm. However, the flight was about 45 minutes late at 8.16 pm from Delhi. After which it was to land at Manohar International Airport in Goa at 10 pm. But after finding out the technical fault on the middle way, the aircraft was diverted towards Mumbai. This flight of Indigo is Airbus’s A320-271n.

Indigo airline released official statement

The IndiGo airline on Wednesday (July 16) has issued an official statement about the flight of Mumbai’s Emergency. A airline spokesman said, “On July 16, 2025, IndiGo’s flight 6e 6271 flew from Delhi to Goa from Goa to Manohar International Hawaii.

He said, “After emergency landing, the aircraft will be sent for necessary investigation and repair. Only then will the aircraft come in re -operation. However, an alternative aircraft has been arranged by the airline to complete the journey of passengers, which will soon fly to the original destination Goa.”

The Indigo spokesperson said, “Our passengers were very inconvenienced due to this sudden problem, we are very sorry. The safety of passengers, crew members and aircraft is the biggest priority for us in Indigo.”
