This post was done in Kannada, there was a feature of translation in English at the post itself. On clicking this, it was written that the Karnataka CM has passed away. When Siddaramaiah came to know about this, he objected to the X parenting company Meta.

On July 15, a post was posted on X by Karnataka CM Office. In which Siddaramaiah was offering flowers on the picture of the actress. Wrote in the post- In Bangalore, I paid my respects to the body of multilingual star and actress B. Sarojadevi, who died yesterday. B. Sarojadevi was an extraordinary actress. He acted in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. However, there was a mess in the translation of this post from the meta.

July 16: Meta sent a letter, said- Turn off auto translation

A letter was sent to the company from the Karnataka CM regarding this mistake of Meta. CM’s media advisor KV Prabhakar wrote, “We have expressed concern that auto translation from Kannada to English is often wrong and in some cases it is also very misleading.”

Prabhakar wrote that such mistakes can create confusion, especially when they include official statements or important messages of CM or government. People do not realize that what they are reading is a message written from auto translation instead of real messages.

17 July: X improves mistake, correct auto translation on post

X is distorting the facts by auto translation of Kannada content on its platform. This is misleading users. Social media platforms should work responsibly. Meta also urged to stop the Kannada auto-translation until he improves further. However, after registering the objection of the CM, Meta improved the translation.
