‘RJD MP Manoj Jha on Election Commission is getting robbed in broad daylight’

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Manoj Jha has accused the Election Commission of ‘bias’. He supported the statements of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on the special intensive revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bihar, saying that there is ‘robbery’ in broad daylight, not ‘vote theft’ in the state.

On Friday (July 18, 2025) during a conversation with the news agency IANS, the RJD MP claimed, “The names of the voters list are being removed from the voter list through the voter list, the names of voters of Dalits, backward, backward, and minority communities are being removed, which can affect their participation in voting.”

He said, ‘It is not possible for everyone to give 11 documents sought by the Commission. People living outside Bihar are being asked to file documents within 25 days. Is this possible in 25 days? ‘

Manoj Jha said that Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav have given me a small noun to do ‘vote theft’, but it should be called ‘dinner dacoity’. He raised the question that the Election Commission should be fair, but at the behest of someone, the Commission has completely changed its working style.

On Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bihar, the RJD MP said, ‘It is natural for the PM to come to Bihar in the election year, but the public wants that he should speak on the increasing crimes in the state. There was an open firing incident in a hospital in Patna, where five people escaped after firing without a face.

The RJD MP described such incidents as a daily problem and demanded to decide the responsibility for this. He lashed out at the BJP and said, “The party immediately sends an inquiry committee in the non-BJP ruled states in case of crime, but no committee has come from Delhi so far for Bihar.” He demanded that the top leadership of BJP should focus on the situation in Bihar and a committee should also be set up here.
