Passengers informed the loco pilot about the smoke coming out of the engine. After this, the train was hurriedly evacuated. Even after 6 hours of the accident, operations on the Ajmer-Beawar track are closed.

Engineer and security teams from Ajmer reached Sendra station after information about the fire in the engine of the train.

Fear of technical fault

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the fire was probably caused by technical fault or short circuit. Railway spokesperson said- No passenger was hurt. Arranged to bring everyone to their destination by alternative means.
