- Came from Orissa to work in Gurugram: Duryodhana Rao is originally from Ganjam district of Orissa. He was married to the same girl Parvati (22) about two and a half years ago. Duryodhana serves as a social media content moderator in a private firm, while Parvati was an executive in a call center. Both were living in 2bhk flat in DLF Phase 3 of Gurugram.
- Jokingly climbed the wall: Duryodhana said that on the evening of July 15, I and my wife Parvati went to the roof to spend a few moments of peace. The weather was also pleasant at that time. We were laughing. Suddenly Parvati climbed on the roof wall and sat on the shore on both sides hanging. Then Parvati jokingly asked me, ‘If I fall, will you save me?’ I immediately asked him to get down and proceeded to pull him towards him.
- On swearing, the balance was disturbed: Duryodhana further told that I vow to Parvati that if you do not come down, I will not eat food. Hearing this, she started trying to get down. Then his balance deteriorated. I immediately caught her and she hanged in my arms. We both shouted for help, but no person was around at that time. I held Parvati tightly for 2 minutes. Then the arms started getting tired and sweating in nervousness.
- Fall from the fourth floor: He said that due to hitting the roof, there were marks on my hands and chest. Despite all the efforts, Parvati was left by hand. She fell on the ground below the fourth floor. I immediately ran down and handled Parvati. Immediately took him to the hospital. On the way, she was screaming in pain. I comforted him that everything would be alright. Parvati died half an hour after reaching the hospital. He suffered a lot of injuries due to falling down.
Recently there was an anniversary of Duryodhana and Parvati. Then he went to Agra to see the Taj Mahal.

Police bid- painful accident occurred Investigating officer of DLF Phase 3 police station Rajat Rao said that this is a painful accident, in which no mistake of anyone was revealed. Parvati’s family also does not suspect any disturbance. The bruises on Duryodhana’s hands and chest confirmed that he tried his best to save his wife. After the postmortem, Parvati’s body was handed over to her family. No evidence of any kind of criminal activity has been found in this accident.
