Opposition united on Bihar voter list
In the monsoon session of the Opposition Parliament, the special intensive review of the voter list in Bihar has started preparing for a big political struggle. India alliance parties have united on this issue and are formulating a strategy to surround the government on the pretext of the Election Commission under the Congress.
According to sources, Congress, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Trinamool Congress are preparing to bring a motion of work in both houses of Parliament on this issue. It is a parliamentary process that is used to postpone action to immediately discuss an important matter in the House.
The electoral politics of Bihar can become a major obstacle despite the government’s efforts to create a consensus to discuss all issues in Parliament. It is a matter of relief for the government that the Supreme Court has not banned SIR. The next hearing will be held on 28 July. The government will reach the House with a shield of being under consideration in the court.
