Uddhav has also met the Chief Minister today within 24 hours of this statement, which lasted about 20 minutes. During this, Uddhav Thackeray presented a book to Chief Minister Fadnavis, in which it is written, why the strictness of Hindi, why three languages are necessary.

Uddhav separated in 2019
Shiv Sena and BJP fought the 2019 Maharashtra assembly elections together. Together, the two brought majority by winning about 160+ seats out of a total of 288. A 50:50 formula was fixed between the two parties before the election. After the results, Uddhav claimed that BJP had promised to share the post of Chief Minister for 2.5-2.5 years.
But Devendra Fadnavis and BJP rejected this claim and asked to give the post of Chief Minister to BJP. This broke the contact with the BJP and started exploring other options. BJP pulled back from forming the government in the event of lack of majority.
The Shiv Sena later formed a government under the name ‘Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA)’ with the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and the Congress.
With this, Uddhav Thackeray became the Chief Minister. This was the first time that the Shiv Sena formed ideologically opposite parties like Congress and NCP.
