Jasprit Bumrah may leave Dennis Lily behind in terms of international wicket
The fourth Test match is to be played between India and England in Manchester between 23 and 27 July. Coach Gautam Gambhir had said before leaving for the tour that Bumrah will play only three of the 5 Tests. It is not sure whether he will be part of the playing eleven in the fourth match. However, after the news of the injury of Akashdeep and Arshdeep Singh, they are sure to play.
India’s assistant coach, Ryan Ten Doshet indicated that Bumrah could play an important test in Manchester. “We will take this decision in Manchester. We know that we have Bumrah for one of the last two Tests. I think the series is to be decided in Manchester, so they are more likely to play.”
Bumrah is close to legendary Dennis Lily and can do wonders in the fourth Test. The right -handed fast bowler needs only 4 wickets to overtake Lily in the list of bowlers who took the most wickets in international cricket.
