A 6.6 magnitude earthquake occurred on Sunday (20 July 2025) near the coast of the Kamchatka region located in the remote eastern part of Russia. According to the German Research Center for Geochens (GFZ), the earthquake center was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 mi). At the same time, Reuters said that initially the intensity of the earthquake was being told 6.2.
