Government ready to discuss in monsoon session on Operation Sindoor, Congress and AAP made this big demand in all party meetings

Monsoon session: Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said on Sunday that the government is ready to discuss all important issues including ‘Operation Sindoor’ in the monsoon session of Parliament starting on Monday. He was saying this in an all -party meeting that was called before the monsoon session. Rijiju appealed to all parties that there should be better coordination between the government and the opposition to run the proceedings of Parliament smoothly.

Government ready to discuss Trump’s claim
US President Donald Trump is preparing to surround the government regarding the recent statement of Donald Trump, in which he said that he got mediation and ceasefire between India and Pakistan. Reacting to this, Rijiju said, the government will give appropriate reply on this issue in Parliament.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rijiju informed that the impeachment motion being brought to remove Justice Verma is getting good support from MPs. He said, this proposal has been signed by more than 100 MPs.

Pahalgam attack on opposition’s target and SIR process in Bihar
The opposition raised many important issues in the meeting which he is going to raise loudly in Parliament. Among them, allegations of disturbances in the special revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bihar, the recent Pahalgam terror attack and the disputed claim of Trump are prominent. Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said that his party will reach Parliament with three major demands:

  • Prime Minister Modi should make a statement in Parliament on Trump’s claim.
  • The government should respond to the security lapse in the Pahalgam terror attack.
  • Voter list revision process should be investigated in Bihar.

Aam Aadmi Party raises the issue of ‘election scam’
In the meeting, AAP MP Sanjay Singh termed the SIR process as a “election scam” and said that this is a serious threat to the country’s democracy. He also expressed concern over Trump’s Indo-Pakistan arbitration statements.

Who was involved in all-party meeting
The meeting was held in the Rajya Sabha under the chairmanship of Leader Sadan and Union Minister JP Nadda. Kiran Rijiju and Minister of State Arjun Ram Meghwal participated on behalf of the government. The meeting was attended by Gaurav Gogoi and Jairam Ramesh of Congress on behalf of the opposition, Supriya Sule of NCP (Sharad Pawar Gut), TR Balu of DMK, Ramdas Athawale of RPI (A).
