This new Quick Recap feature was first known by the famous feature tracker WABetaInfo Spot Did, which shows that WhatsApp is currently testing this feature in its Android beta version (v2.25.21.12). The report states that users can go to the Chats tab and select up to five chats, after which the option of ‘Quick Recap’ will be seen in the three dot menu given above. On clicking on it, WhatsApp will make a top-level AI based summer of those selected chats.
The Quick Recap feature will be completely optional, that is, it will be closed by default and users will be able to activate it by going to the settings as per their wish. The special thing is that this feature will not work on the chats that turn on Advanced Chat Privacy, that is, your privacy will remain completely. WhatsApp has used Meta’s private processing technology to keep the Samaries end-to-end encrypted and neither WhatsApp nor META can access them.
Currently, this feature is only in beta stage and is not available to common users. But according to the feature tracker, the company can start rolling out for the rest of the users in the coming time. In terms of security, WhatsApp has assured that its AI summer process will be completely private and safe. In such a situation, if you are troubled by a lot of unrighteous chats, then the Quick Recap feature is going to make your work much easier.
