A shocking incident has come to light in Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh. Here, in search of a young man missing for eight years, the police revealed the shocking revelation. Police investigation revealed that the youth was not missing, but was murdered. In this case, a case has been registered against the deceased’s wife, five family members and several unidentified persons under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The police is now investigating this case with the murder angle.
This case is related to Chauri police station area of Bhadohi district. SHO Ramesh Kumar said that on the instructions of Chief Judicial Magistrate Ashok Kumar Mishra, a case has been registered against Rekha Devi, Ramesh Pathak, Akhilesh Pathak, Rahul Pathak, Deepak Pathak, Aarti Devi and other unknown people under Section 364 (kidnapping for murder), 504 (insult) and 506 (criminal intimidation). This case is related to Ajay Kumar Dubey alias Sonu, a resident of Handia area of Prayagraj district.
Sonu was angry when she came to meet Rekha’s maternal uncle
In 2008, Sonu was married to Rekha Devi (29), a resident of Manikpur village of Bhadohi. After marriage, the relationship between the two remained normal in the early days, but thereafter there was a fight between them. Actually, Makuch people used to come and go to meet Rekha. Sonu did not like this later. There was often a debate and quarrel between the two about this. On 30 January 2017, Rekha Devi, who was living in the maiden, called Sonu to meet Bhadohi.
Bhadohi went on his wife’s call, Sonu never returned
After this, Sonu never returned. At that time his family went to Mumbai. But after coming back, his father Rama Shankar Dubey (58) started searching for him. A complaint of his disappearance was also lodged in the local police station, but the police did not become active. After this, he filed his petition in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate on 20 April 2024. Rama Shankar Dubey claimed that he had tried to find his son Ajay.
Case filed for murder after order of Chief Judicial Magistrate
Meanwhile, he came to know from some of his relatives that when Ajay reached Rekha’s house, there was a lot of quarrel between the two. No one has seen Ajay since then. The family is now considering the apprehension that Ajay was murdered on the same day or was deliberately disappeared. On July 19, Chief Judicial Magistrate Ashok Kumar Mishra took cognizance of Rama Shankar Dubey and ordered the police to register a case and start an immediate investigation.
Challenge before the police, how to collect evidence of murder?
After the court order, the police have registered an FIR against all the accused and started searching for Ajay. But the biggest challenge before the police is to collect evidence after eight years, which can prove that Rekha Devi and the killers in the case are with him. However, the police has increased the scope of its investigation. Everything related to the accused is being investigated. The police will soon interrogate all the accused in custody.
