Vice President Dhankar resigns, Pawan Kheda raised questions, said- ‘Sports behind the curtain, BJP under heavy stress …’

The politics has been hot over the sudden resignation of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar. Congress spokesperson Pawan Kheda has launched a scathing attack on the central government and the Bharatiya Janata Party on this issue. He has described the silence of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and BJP leaders as suspicious and said that this gives clear indications that some big political developments are going on behind the curtain.

Pawan Kheda wrote on the social media platform X, “The Vice President of the country resigned by citing health reasons, but no person associated with the Prime Minister’s Office and BJP has so far not wished nor thanked him for health. This silence indicates that a big game is going on behind the screen and the BJP is under heavy stress.”

Opposition expressed apprehension

Opposition parties like Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction) and Trinamool Congress have also raised questions about the resignation of Dhankhar. Many leaders refused to consider it as a general resignation and said that suddenly the Vice President’s constitutional post can not be an ordinary thing.

Silence from BJP so far

It is noteworthy that Jagdeep Dhankhar submitted his resignation to the President on Monday, in which he cited health reasons, but till now neither Prime Minister Narendra Modi nor any senior BJP leader has made any statement publicly. Neither have he been given best wishes nor thanks for his tenure.

There is a round of speculation in political circles whether there is a political strategy behind the sudden farewell of Dhankhar, or they are being extended towards any other responsibility.
