Iran Nuclear Programe: Iran’s atomic stubbornness! Work on uranium will not stop despite attacks

Iran’s nuclear program has been a matter of international controversy for decades, but Tehran is not ready to retreat despite the recent war and attacks. In an interview given to Fox News, Iranian External Affairs Minister Abbas Araghchi said that stopping uranium enrichment will have to be compromised on national pride and scientific achievements.

Iran made it clear that it would not eliminate its nuclear program in any external pressure (American-Israel). This attitude is not only political, but it also includes a deep cultural and scientific spirit. Araghchi, adding it to the hard work and achievements of Iranian scientists, described it as a ‘symbol of pride’.

The condition of nuclear installations after US-Israeli attacks
After the attack by Israel on 13 June, there was a 12 -day fierce battle between Iran and Israel. In the final phase of this war, the US started Operation Midnight Hammer, in which B-2 Spirit Bombers dropped 30,000 pounds GBU-57 Bunker Buster Bomb Dropped. The goal of these bombs was Iran’s major nuclear sites, in which Fordo Facility was the most important. Iran admitted that its nuclear facilities have been severely damaged in these attacks, but despite this the government says that enrichment will be continued and efforts to resume it will be intensified.

What is the purpose of nuclear program?
Israel and the US claim that Iran has enhanced uranium to the level that it can soon make nuclear weapons. At the same time, Tehran says that his nuclear program is entirely for civil purposes, such as energy production and medical research, but remains a matter of international doubt. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has questioned Iran’s program many times in its report. Still Iran is standing on its stand and says that he will not come under anyone’s threat.

National pride versus international pressure
Araghchi said that this is the hard work of those scientists who made it possible without any foreign cooperation. On the other hand, the US and its allies consider it a cause of instability in West Asia. They believe that if Iran makes nuclear weapons then it will be a threat not only to Israel but the entire region.
