The Delhi government will give laptops to 1200 students of government schools who bring good numbers in the 10th board examination. The Delhi government has also decided to increase the prize money for players and athletes winning medals in international events like Olympics, Asiad and Commonwealth Games. Till now the prize money was less than states like Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, now the government has decided to make it equal or more than these states. In the decisions related to the Education Department, several decisions have been taken for Delhi under the Chief Minister’s Sports Promotion Scheme.

7 crores for gold medal
Before today, those who won the Olympic Games were given 3 crore, 2 crore and one crore rupees. Now 7 crores have been increased for gold medal, 5 crore for silver and 3 crore for bronze. Similarly, the amount of prize has also been increased for the medalist of Asiad, Commonwealth Games and National Games. Players used to give neighboring state jobs, so those who win gold and silver medal in the Olympics will be given the job of group A, those who win bronze in the Olympics will be given the job of Group B.

Similarly, those who win medals in other sports will also be given A, B and C category jobs. In school education, the Delhi government will be given an incentive of 5 lakhs to every national and state player. Elite sports person will be given 30 lakh rupees every year, after passing good marks in class X, students should go well, for this, 1200 students who are meritorious will be given I-7 laptops.

ICT Labs will be set up in Delhi
Delhi has 1074 schools, no government school has a functional computer lab. The Delhi government has created 100 ICT lab through CSR. The 907 lab, which was made with the money of the central government, was also left unnecessarily by the previous government. Therefore, now the Delhi government will set up ICT lab in 175 schools which will be on the approved parameters of CBSE. A lab will have 40 computers.
