Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Monday that being a staunch Hindu does not mean opposing others’, but the real meaning of being a Hindu is to adopt everyone. He said that Hinduism is a religion carrying everyone along.
Bhagwat said- ‘It is often misunderstanding that if someone is firm towards their religion, then he opposed others. We do not have to say that we are not Hindus. We are Hindus, but the essence of being a Hindu is to adopt all of us. ‘
He was addressing the National Education Conference ‘Gyan Sabha’ organized by the RSS organization Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas in Kochi. Educationists and thinkers from across the country were present in the program.
5 main things of Bhagwat’s speech:
1. Need to change education He described the colonial education model imposed by Macaulay as unsuitable for today’s India. He said that only Indian education system based on truth and compassion can contribute to the world welfare by awakening the huge possibilities of India.
2. Importance of Vidya and Avidya He said that there are two types of knowledge in this world- Vidya (truth knowledge) and Avidya (ignorance). Both have an important role in the physical and spiritual aspects of life, and India gives importance to the balance of both of them.
3. Indian Nationalism and Spirituality Bhagwat described India as a spiritual land and said that the nationalism of the country is associated with holy and pure spirit.
4. Definition of true scholar He said that the true scholar is not the one who only contemplates, but is the one who converts his thoughts into karma and presents his example in life.
5. Personal role in society change Bhagwat said that every person should work with personal responsibility for the overall change of society.
A day ago, he said- not a gold bird, to become a lion In this program on July 27, a day earlier, Bhagwat said that we do not have to become a gold bird again, but we have to become a lion. The world understands the power of power and should be a powerful India.
He said that education should be such that makes the person self -sufficient and gives him the ability to survive anywhere.
