A shocking incident has come to light in the Indigo Airlines flight 6E-138 going from Mumbai to Kolkata. On the flight, a passenger suddenly slapped another passenger. The victim passenger was struggling with panic attack at that time. This entire incident was captured on camera and its video is becoming viral on social media.
It can be clearly seen in the video that the air hostess of the passenger who had a panic attack was helping. At the same time, another passenger gave him a strong slap without any provocation. After the incident, another passenger present on the flight asked the accused repeatedly why he did this, to which the accused replied. That I was having a problem with this. However, another passenger then said that you do not have the right to raise hands on anyone.
The accused, who slapped the co -passenger in the flight, has been identified as Hafizul Rahman. After the flight reached Kolkata, he was first handed over to CISF. He was then taken to the NSCBI Police Station at Aerport, where he was arrested by the Vidhannagar police.

What did Indigo Airlines say?
Reacting to the incident, IndiGo Airlines issued an official statement and strongly condemned the action of the accused. IndiGo said that we are aware of the incident of this clash in one of our flights. Such undisciplined behavior is completely unacceptable and we strongly condemn any act that compromises the safety and dignity of our passengers and crew.
The airline also stated that the accused passenger was identified and declared disinfected and handed over to the security agencies as soon as the flight reached Kolkata. IndiGo said that his crew team took action under the prescribed standard operation process (SOP) and all concerned regulatory agencies have been informed.
IndiGo also reiterated that it is fully committed to maintain safety and respectable atmosphere in all trips. At present, further action in this matter is being taken by the security agencies.
