The Road Safety Force (SSF) launched in January 2024 on the initiative of Bhagwant Man Sarkar has so far set a new record by saving the lives of more than 35,000 people. Hitech teams are stationed every 30 km on 4100 km roads of Punjab, which is reported in 5–7 minutes as soon as the accident is reported

Equipped with vehicles like Toyota Hillux and Mahindra Scorpio, these teams immediately take the injured to the hospital by giving first aid.

Important role to daughters, examples of women empowerment
Honor government has shown that it is not just security, but a mission of empowerment and empowerment. The women personnel involved in the SSF are now becoming the identity of Punjab. She is not just doing duty, she is also giving confidence of security to every citizen.
Tightening screws on crimes
This force is not limited to road accidents only. SSF has done an effective job on several fronts such as drug smuggling, recovery of stolen vehicles, and saving 12 people attempting suicide. The safe journey of late night women passengers, children and tourists has also become part of the SSF responsibility.
SSF has been linked to techniques such as speed gun, body camera, e-challan system, mobile data, and artificial intelligence, which has now become more smart and transparent than ever before road safety and law and order.
Great success in school children safety
In 2024, not a single school child died in a road accident in SSF deployed areas. It is a historical record in itself and also evidence of the success of the government’s efforts.
SSF has reduced the expenditure in hospitals, reduced burden on insurance companies, and the general public has got mental relief. Tourism has also been encouraged in the state, and discipline has come in the traffic system.
