The top military officer of Israeli has warned Gaza for the release of his captive citizens. The Israeli army official has threatened Gaza that if the ongoing talks about the release of the hostage are not successful soon, then the Gaza will stop without stopping and the fight will continue without any break.
According to an Israeli Army (IDF) statement, Israeli Army Chief Lieutenant General Ayal Jamir while addressing the officials in Gaza on Friday (1 August 2025) said, “I think it will be completely clear in the coming few days whether we can reach any agreement for the release of our bonds. If not, if not, the war will continue without the war.”
At the same time, the Israeli army has also released a video, in which military chief Jamir can be seen meeting the officers and soldiers posted at a command center.
49 citizens are still stranded in Gaza
According to the Israeli army, 251 Israeli citizens were abducted during the attack by Hamas in October 2023. Out of which 49 people are still trapped in Gaza and 27 people have died. At the same time, Palestinian armed groups released a video of two hostages this week, in which they are seen very weak.
The ceasefire’s conversation between Israel-Gaja failed last month
On the other hand, the conversation between the ongoing ceasefire and hostage between Israel and Gaza in the mediatie of the US, Egypt and Qatar failed last month and since then many people and strict military action in Israel have been demanding. All this development is happening at a time when there is increasing tension at the international level as well as domestically on Israel. Amidst the ongoing struggle of Israel-Gaja for 22 months, there is a demand to start an attempt again in the direction of the ceasefire from the families of the hostages.
