Indigo airline has taken major action on a person who slapped a co-passenger on Friday (August 1, 2025) in a Mumbai-coalcat flight. The person has been put on the no-fly list by the airline, that is, the person will not be able to fly from IndiGo flight in future. The man was accused of slapping a co -passenger from Cachar in Assam. The person allegedly had a panic attack during the flight, during which the accused was slapped by the accused man.
On Saturday (August 2, 2025), a day after the controversy after the incident, the IndiGo airline issued a statement and announced a ban on the flying of the accused passenger. The airline said in the statement, “There is no place for such undisciplined behavior in our flights and we are committed to take action on it. So the person concerned has been suspended from traveling in any flight of Indigo in future under regulatory provisions.”

The video of this incident in Indigo flight became increasingly viral on social media platforms. In this incident, the accused passenger slapped his co -passenger without any provocation. The person who was slapped in the aircraft has been identified as Hussain Majumdar, a resident of Assam. The viral video of the incident shows that the Majumdars are in a nervous condition and the crew members of the aircraft are taking him to his seat, when the accused man slapped him (Hussain Majumdar).
Majumdar went missing since the incident
However, a shocking turn has come to light in this case. It is being said that Majumdar has gone missing since this incident. According to a Times of India report, the passenger who was attacked during the flight was about to reach Silchar from Kolkata, but he did not reach there.
