Shashi Tharoor has reacted to the support of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to the statement of dead economy of US President Donald Trump. He said that India’s business relations with America are important and they should not be affected. In the context of Rahul Gandhi, he said, “I do not want to comment on my party leader’s point. He has his own reasons to say so.”
According to Shashi Tharoor, this is the biggest concern
Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor said, “My concern is more about our relationship with America, a strategic and economic partnership for us. India should protect their strong business relations with America.” He emphasized that America is one of the largest export markets in the country, where about 90 billion $ 90 billion goes every year.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said, “We are exporting goods worth about $ 90 billion to America. So we are not in such a situation that we lose it or decrease a huge decrease. Some people say that it is only 2 percent of our gross domestic product (GDP), but America is one of our biggest markets in terms of our exports.”
‘We should also talk to other countries’
The Congress MP said, “We should also talk to other countries to export our goods. Then we will be able to compensate for the damage that we will suffer in America.” After announcing 25 per cent tariff on imports from India, Trump said, “India and Russia can take their dead economy into the trough together. I don’t care what India does with Russia.”
The statement of US President Donald Trump supported the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, after which politics in the country was hot. Rahul Gandhi said, “Trump is correct. Everyone except the Prime Minister and Finance Minister knows this.”
