The water level increased due to heavy rains in Dakania pond of Kheda district in Gujarat. During this time, about 50 monkeys got trapped on an acacia tree located in the beach pond. The monkeys were not able to get out due to the flooding around the pond. These monkeys were stranded for about five days.
