How the girl caught fire in the Puri case, the police did not clarify
The police, however, did not clarify how the girl caught fire. In the FIR, the girl’s mother alleged that three unidentified people kidnapped her daughter and set her on fire by putting flammable substances. After this complaint, the police sent senior officers to the spot. Evidence was collected at the scene with the help of scientific team and dog squad.

SIT investigated the case of fire
According to the police, a special Investigation Team (SIT) was created to investigate the case, which is investigating the case with every angle. Police said that the investigation is almost complete and according to the initial conclusion, the role of any other person has not been found in it. Meanwhile, security has been tightened near the residence of Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Ministers and other ministers due to security reasons.
