After losing the first match, in the second match, the Windies team won the last ball from Jason Holder’s fours. Pakistan had scored 133 runs for 9 wickets while batting first. In response, the West Indies lost 8 wickets and won the match on the last ball. Shaheen Afridi could not defend the 8 runs in the last over and the series came on a 1–1 par. Holder hit a winning four with 4 wickets and became the player of the match.
