In the case of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to be adopted to collect samples of Korona, the central government told during a hearing in the Delhi High Court that new rules are being made soon to gather samples taken for investigation and take them to the lab. These rules have already been approved and they will be notified in the next three months.
Health Ministry formed four separate committee
In the bench of Justice Anish Dayal in Delhi High Court, the Ministry of Health filed its report in this regard. In the report given by the Ministry of Health in the court, it was told that four separate expert committees were formed for this. These committees prepared a draft of rules after much discussion, which was later approved by Director General of Health Services.
The central government told the court that now the rules will be put on the website for the public so that if you want to give any decoration, they can give it. After getting approval from the National Council for Clinical Excellence, this rule is currently under investigation in the legal department. As soon as this process is completed, they will be published and implemented in the Gazette of India.
A contempt petition was filed in court
In the Delhi High Court, Dr. Rohit Jain filed a contempt petition. The petition filed in the Delhi High Court said that the central government has not implemented the order of 27 January 2023 of the Delhi High Court. At the same time, the administration did not prepare a minimum criteria for collecting samples of Corona and taking the sample. However, the Delhi High Court, while hearing the contempt petition, sought an answer from the central government.
Central government said- process will be notified in three months
In the Delhi High Court, information has been given by the Central Government that the process is in the final stages and these rules will be implemented within 3 months. At present, after the implementation of these rules, the process of taking samples for investigation and taking them to the lab safely will be more transparent and safe.
