New Delhi. The Pakistan Cricket Board has taken a big step after losing to South Africa in the final of the World Championship of Legends. The PCB has completely banned its team’s participation in the WCL in future. After Pakistan Cricket’s decision of India Champions to be out of the semi -finals against Pakistan, WCL’s statement and work were filled with bias.

PCB strongly condemned the WCL decision in its 79th BOG meeting held under the chairmanship of Mohsin Naqvi. It was said on behalf of the board that the team that deliberately left the match was given points. It was announced to cancel the India vs Pakistan Champions matches. PCB described it as full of hypocrisy and partiality.

PCB’s statement said, “The things that have happened in this case is unfortunate. It clearly showed the effect of external things and disregard the principles of fairness of the game. All these incidents have forced the Pakistan Cricket Board to take a tough stance. PCB can no longer allow to participate in such an event where PCB can no longer allow it to participate in such an event where PCB can now allow to participate in such a compromise with the fundamental game and the fundamental principle of fair administration.”

Many Indian players refused to play with Pakistan in Birmingham during the league stage of the tournament. Both teams were scheduled to meet again in the semi -finals but Team India decided to get out of the game. Sumair Ahmed Syed, Salman Naseer, Zaheer Abbas, Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Sajjad Ali Khokhar, Zafarullah Jadgal, Tanveer Ahmed, Tariq Sarwar, Muhammad Ismail Qureshi, Anwar Ahmad Khan, Adnan Malik, Usman Vahala (Special Secretary) participated in PCB’s virtual BOG meeting.
