Russia-Ukraine has been attacking each other for a fierce drone and missile for the last few days. Meanwhile, Ukraine has targeted the big oil depot of Russian. Russia officials said on Sunday (3 August 2025) that Ukraine attacked the oil depot at the resort Sochi in Black Sea, Russia with a drone.
Fierce fire in oil depot
Governor of Krasnodar region Veniyamin Kondratayev said that a fierce fire broke out in the fuel tank due to the fall of the drone. More than 127 firefighters are engaged in extinguishing the fire. Russia has suspended all its flights by the airport near Sochi. The video of the incident is going viral on social media, in which a big smoke was seen rising from above the oil depot. According to Russian officials, four people have died in this attack.
93 drones of Ukraine killed- Russia
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, his air defense system killed 93 drones of Ukraine. The place where this attack took place is 400 km from the Ukraine border. It is considered difficult to attack Ukraine here compared to the rest of Russia’s cities. According to local officials, two people were killed in the Ukrainian drone attacks in the region later last month.

Russia is also constantly attacking Ukraine with missiles and drones. Ukraine’s Air Force said on Sunday (3 August 2025), “Russia fired 76 attacker drones and seven missiles on Ukraine in the night. Russia attacked 8 places across Ukraine. Ukraine’s air defense system destroyed 60 drones and a missile.”
According to officials to Ukraine, Russia has now started a strong attack. Ukrainian officials said on Thursday (31 July 2025), Russia fired over 300 drones and eight cruise missiles, which was the deadliest attack ever. 31 people were killed in this attack.
