US President Donald Trump claimed to stop the war between India and Pakistan once again on Sunday (August 03, 2025) after imposing 25 tariffs on India. Trump said that he has stopped the ongoing war between many countries of the world including India-Pakistan.
Trump had announced on social media on May 10, saying that India and Pakistan have agreed to ceasefire after a long conversation in Washington’s mediation. After this, he has repeated his claim many times. However, India has made it clear that no third country is involved in ceasefire with Pakistan.
This latest claim of Trump came a few days after the statement of Caroline Levit, the press secretary of the White House, in which he said that President Trump should be given the Nobel Peace Prize to end many struggles worldwide, including India and Pakistan.

PM Modi responded in Parliament
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently said during a discussion on Operation Sindoor in Parliament that no leader of the world had asked to stop Operation Sindoor. He did not take the name of Donald Trump, but had given a message to the whole world standing in Parliament. On the other hand, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Wednesday (July 30, 2025) that there was no third party in ceasefire between India and Pakistan and no trade deal was the reason behind stopping the military campaign.
The Foreign Minister said that there was no talk between PM Modi and US President Trump from 22 April to 16 June. Let me tell you that there was a terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, in which 26 tourists died, after which India had destroyed terrorist bases by entering Pakistan in Operation Sindoor.
