The final voter list will be published on 30 September after the SIR process, which started on June 24 in Bihar. The Election Commission had said in a press note on 27 July that 91.69% of the voters registered in the voter list in Bihar have submitted their forms. According to the commission, the draft of the voter list has been released on August 1, in which the names of 65 lakh voters have been cut. According to the EC, the people whose names are not in the voter list are due to the death of the voter, permanent transfer and registered in more than one place.

At the same time, opposition parties are opposing this action of the Election Commission. He says that the rights of voters are being killed. All the big leaders of the opposition from Tejashwi Yadav to Rahul Gandhi are opposing it and are demanding a discussion in Parliament.
