‘Modi government adopting DDLJ policy’, Rahul Gandhi was reprimanded by Supreme Court, Congress was reprimanded, asked these 8 questions about China

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has asked questions to the central government regarding how to deal with China on the border. He said the post on X that on 15 June 2020, when our 20 brave soldiers were martyred in the Galwan, every patriot is raising some important questions in the mind of Indian.

He said that in the last 5 years, the Modi government has adopted a policy of hiding and wandering the truth instead of answering these questions, which we can call DDLJ. Explaining the meaning of DDLJ, he wrote, Deny (refusal), distract (distracting), lie (lying) and justify (two cleaning).

Questions asked by the Congress to the Central Government

1. On June 19, 2020, that is, just four days after the martyrdom of our soldiers in the Galwan, why did the Prime Minister say, ‘Neither has anyone entered our border, nor has anyone penetrated?’ Was it not a clean chit given to China?

2. Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi has said that we want to return to the status quo of April 2020. Does the return agreement made on 21 October 2024 really take us to the same status quo?

3. Is it not true that today Indian patrolling parties need Chinese consent to go to their own patrolling points in Deppasang, Demchok and Chumar, whereas earlier they used India’s regional rights independently?

4. Is it not true that Indian patrols in Galwan, Hot Spring and Pangong Lake region are being stopped due to ‘buffer zone’ from reaching those areas, while these buffer zones are located within the line of claim of India?

5. Was it not widely reported in 2020 that about 1,000 square kilometers of East Ladakh has come under Chinese control, including 900 square kilometers of Depsang?

6. Is it not true that Leh’s Superintendent of Police presented a paper at the annual conference of the Directorate of Police, stating that India lost its access to 26 out of 65 patrolling points in East Ladakh?

7. Is it not true that imports from China are growing rapidly- especially in areas such as electronics, batteries and solar cells? India’s telecom, pharma and electronics sector have become extremely dependent on sugar imports? Is it not true that the trade deficit with China in 2024-25 reached $ 99.2 billion?

8. Is it not true that the Modi government is trying to normalize a relationship with a country today, which played an important role in Pakistan’s military action during Operation Sindoor. He had provided Pakistan’s J-10C fighter aircraft and air-to-air PL-15 missiles and as a air-like PL-15 missile and as on July 4, 2025 Deputy Army Chief Lieutenant General Rahul R.K. Singh had said that live input was also provided on Indian military operations.

Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said, “The truth is that the Modi government is responsible for the loss of the largest territory ever after 1962. Due to its cowardice and wrong economic priorities, it is now trying to normalize everything with enemy country like China.”
