Earning the rumors of Jammu and Kashmir getting state status soon, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that nothing like this is going to happen in the coming days. Along with this, Omar Abdullah has also hoped to be something positive during the upcoming monsoon session of the assembly.
The discussion of restoring the status of the state of Jammu and Kashmir began after continuous meetings of President Draupadi Murmu with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
These speculation got further wind when Amit Shah met some leaders of Jammu and Kashmir and local BJP Chief. According to sources, Prime Minister Modi has also called an important meeting of NDA MPs on Tuesday.
Reacting to the rumors, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said in a social media post, “I have heard every thing about what happens in Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow, so I take out my neck and say that tomorrow nothing will happen. Fortunately nothing will happen, but unfortunately nothing will be positive. I am still expecting about something positive for Jammu and Kashmir in Parliament’s monsoon session.”
