Sawan Last Somwar 2025: Today i.e. August 4 is the last and fourth Monday of Sawan. With this, the holy month of Sawan has now reached its final stage. On August 9, the Shravan month will end with Rakshabandhan and the month of Bhadrapada will begin.

The fourth and the last Sawan Monday 4 August 2025 is today. The Brahma Muhurta of Pooja will be from 4.20 pm to 5 to 20 minutes this morning. On this day, Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga, Brahma Yoga and Indra Yoga are a coincidence, which makes it extremely auspicious. Lord Shiva can be Jalabhishek in all these yogas.
Sawan Somwar 2025 Pujan Vidhi
Sawan gets up in Brahma Muhurta on Monday and take a bath and wear clean clothes. After that purify the place of worship of the house with Ganga water. Install the idol or picture of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. Then, take water in your hand and resolve the fast and start chanting ‘Om Namah Shivaya’. After that, anoint the Shivling with milk, curd, ghee, honey and sugar. Then take a bath with Ganga water. Offer Belpatra, Dhatura, cannabis, mud flower, white flowers, sandalwood, akshat, fruits, sweets, perfumes.
After that chant the mantra ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ 108 times and recite Mahamrityunjaya Mantra and Shiva Chalisa. Finally perform the Aarti of Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva. Read the fasting story of Sawan Monday or listen to a Brahmin. After the puja, distribute Prasad to family and devotees. Eat fruits, dry fruits, milk etc. in fasting. In the evening, offer the moon with water. The next day, provide food to the Brahmins or the needy. Then after taking the sattvic grain themselves, pass the fast.
