Dark circles are dark circles under the eyes, which are not a disease but signs of physical and lifestyle conditions. These are often caused by lack of sleep, lack of water, exposure to strong sun, lack of iron or other vitamins, increasing age, eating out or alcohol, and repeated eyes rubbing. Dark circles have different types and can be identified due to their color: –
Pigmented dark circles: Brown, usually due to sun exposure, inflammation or hormonal change. ,
Vascular dark circles: Of blue or blue tone, where blood vessels appear more under the eyes, usually by fatigue or lack of sleep.
Structural dark circles: It is caused by a pit, moisture or collagen deficiency under the eyes. ,
Mixed dark circles: A mixture of all the above causes, which are the most common. The skin under the eyes is thin and sensitive, due to which this area is affected more than dark circles.
Natural remedy:
1. Turmeric, sandalwood, saffron, milk/yogurt: Anti-inflammatory and skin brightening, sandal cooling effects, and saffron-boosts reduce dark circles and puffiness. This paste has to be applied for 15-20 minutes.
2. Cold Compression: Fresh coolness, such as ice cubes wrapped in cloth and rubbing it under the eyes, or applying cold slices of cucumber, or applying tea bags in the fridge reduces both dark circles and puffiness. It improves blood circulation and freshen the skin.
3. Raw Potato: Vitamin C, potassium and active enzymes reduce dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles by applying raw potato slices or its juice under the eyes. Applying it for 10-15 minutes is beneficial.
4. Oil Massage (Candi): Massaging herbal oil (eg almond, coconut, or special Ayurvedic oil) with light hands under the face and eyes increases blood flow, causing toxins to come out, reduce puffiness, and the skin becomes shiny. It is better to do it before sleeping.
Makeup tips to hide dark circle
- First of all clean the face with wipe.
- Apply moisturizer so that the skin does not look dry.
- Apply primer so that makeup looks good and looks smooth.
- Apply a tone dark concealer with the color of dark circles, but do not blend it, just dab so that the concealer is not scattered.
- After the dark circles are covered, apply a concealer similar to the skin tone so that the color looks the same.
- Apply light quantity of loose powder, blend it too and remove excess powder from the brush so that makeup does not look.
