Two Indian -origin cricketers Aryan Sharma and Yash Deshmukh were included in the 15 -member Under 19 team of Australia.
New Delhi. Two Indian-origin cricketers Aryan Sharma and Yash Deshmukh were included in Australia’s 15-member team on Friday for the domestic series against the India Under-19 team next month. Both these players are of Indian origin but are now ready to play for Australia.
While Aryan Sharma is a Victoria batsman, all -rounder Deshmukh is one of the five players from New South Wales who have been selected in the team. Former Australian head coach Tim Nielsen will give this team coaching. The series will start next month i.e. September. The matches will be played with 21.
The series will start with three ODIs to be played at Ian Heli Oval in Brisbane on 21, 24 and 26 September. After this, two four -day matches will be played from 30 September to 3 October in Brisbane and from 7 to 10 October in McAi. This will be the first series as the coach of Nielsen’s Under-19 team. He had earlier been the coach of Australia’s Senior Men’s team from 2007 to 2011.
