New Delhi. After defeating India, Steve Smith, Labuschagne, Sam Constas will play three BBL matches before the Sri Lanka tour. Whereas Marnus Labuschagne and Usman Khawaja will be allowed to play only one match. Meanwhile, Travis Head and Australia’s bowlers will take a few days’ rest before going abroad. Head, Scott Boland, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Nathan Lyon and Mitchell Starc will not play any role in the BBL season. Despite this he is bound by contract. Smith will be available to play against Adelaide Strikers on 15 January and Sydney Thunder on 17 January, where Kontas will also play.
