Shubman Gill becomes ICC Player of the Month of July New Delhi. Shubman Gill, the new captain of the Indian Test team, has been chosen as the ICC Men Player of the Month for July 2025. Shubman Gill has won the award, leaving behind England Test captain Ben Stokes and South Africa’s Vian Mulder.
The 25 -year -old Indian captain, showing great form in July, scored 567 runs in three Tests at an average of 94.50. His performance included a double century and two centuries. This honor is special for Gill because it was his first Test series as a captain. Gill said, “It looks great for the ICC Player of the Month for July. This time is even more important for me because it has met my performance during my first Test series. The double century in Birmingham will definitely be always memorable for me.”
