New Delhi. Former Indian cricket team batsman Suresh Raina has been summoned to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to appear in the Delhi office on Wednesday. This summons has been sent in connection with the investigation of illegal betting platforms. Officials told News18 about this on Tuesday night.

Earlier, the investigation team of ED from Mumbai raided 15 places in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Madurai and Surat. The raid was conducted to gather information about the racket behind the betting app called ‘Parimach’. The investigation has been launched under the Money Laundering Prevention Act (PMLA), which is based on a case filed in 2024 by Cyber Police Station in Mumbai.

Initial investigations have revealed that the cheated money was deposited in the muel accounts. It was rotated through several payment aggregators and money transfer agents. This amount is more than ₹ 2,000 crore. According to sources, this amount was washed through Crypto Wallets, ATMs in an area of Tamil Nadu through small cash withdrawal and low value UPI transfer.
