PM Modi will go to China at SCO conference

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also go to China to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Conference. During this time Russia will also be present there. China will host the SCO summit in Tianjin from 31 August to 1 September. India is a big market and this is the reason that its relationship with China is in tension due to normal.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi last went to China to attend the SCO summit in June 2018. Chinese President Xi Jinping visited India for the second informal summit in October 2019.
Ajit Doval met Russian President Vladimir Putin, one day after Trump imposed an additional 25 per cent tariff on India. During this, the preparations for the regional security, defense cooperation and the upcoming leadership level meeting were discussed. Last week, NSA Ajit Doval had said that Putin will soon visit India.
