Srikantacharya Jayanti: ‘With the inspiration of the first martyr of Telangana …’ Bolin BRS MLC K.K. Poem

On Friday (August 15) on the birth anniversary of the first martyr Srikantacharya of Telangana, BRS leaders said that we pay tribute to his unique sacrifice. In the second phase of agitation, which started in 1969 for the liberation of Telangana from the rule of Valas Palays, Srikantacharya offered his life and inspired the entire Telangana to achieve Swarashtra. His sacrifice is still a source of inspiration for all of us.

BRS MLC K. Kavita said that Srikantacharya not only raised self -respect among the people of Telangana with his self -sacrifice, but also laid a strong foundation towards realizing the dream of a separate state. His martyrdom gave a new direction to the struggle for Telangana’s identity and self -esteem. Today, when efforts are being made to weaken Telangana’s cultural and historical identity. In such a situation, the life and sacrifice of Srikantacharya calls us united and calls us to protect our soil.

‘Current government policies against Telangana’s interests’
BRS MLC K. Kavita said that the policies of the present government are against the interests of Telangana. In such a situation, the memory of Srikantacharya teaches us that we have to be adamant for our rights and identity. BRS reiterates the resolve that we will make every effort to preserve the culture, language and history of Telangana.

BRS leaders said that on the birth anniversary of Srikantacharya, we appeal to the people of Telangana to unite by taking inspiration from their sacrifice and contribute to regeneration of Telangana’s pride. BRS repeats its commitment in this direction and promises to continuously struggle to realize Srikantacharya’s dreams. Let us all go ahead with the inspiration of Srikantacharya for the glorious future of Telangana and pay true tribute to his martyrdom.
