The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has given changes in the playing conditions and has allowed injury replacement in multi-day cricket (long format) in the coming home season. The idea has been taken since Rishabh Pant was hurt in the recent Anderson-Tendulkar series in England.
What are the new rules According to the new rule,
If a player suffers a serious injury during the match, serious injury replacement may be allowed. This injury should be during the game and inside the field.
