The terror of liquor mafia in Gopalganj district of Bihar has once again come up in a dreadful style. Liquor smugglers ambushed the excise department team near Sipaya Engineering College in Vishambharpur police station area of the district. In this attack, Home Guard Jawan Abhishek Kumar Sharma died on Balthari checkpost, while another soldier was injured.
According to the information, this incident took place around 4.30 am on Saturday morning. A large consignment of liquor from Uttar Pradesh is going to enter Bihar, whose secret information was received by the excise department. Acting on this information, a team left from Balthari checkpost and kept chasing liquor smugglers till Sipaya. Meanwhile, the smugglers suddenly surrounded the product team and attacked him.
During the attack, the back of the head of Home Guard Jawan Abhishek Kumar Sharma was strongly attacked. The war was so deadly that blood started flowing rapidly from his head. The condition became critical on the spot. The fellow soldiers immediately rushed Abhishek soaked in the Sadar Hospital, but the doctors declared him dead. Another soldier is also injured in the attack. He has suffered minor injuries.
The family members of the deceased demanded a high -level inquiry
The deceased jawan Abhishek Kumar Sharma was the son of Badshah Sharma, a resident of Bengal Khaar in Kuchayakot police station area. He was appointed in the year 2019. Abhishek is left behind by his wife and two innocent children. As soon as the news of the death was received, there was a shout in the family. Mournful brother Amarendra Sharma alleged that the attack was a well-planned conspiracy. He has demanded a high -level inquiry from the administration.
DSP rank will be investigated under the leadership of officer
On receiving information about this incident, Amritesh Kumar, Superintendent of Alcohol, reached the spot. He said that this accident happened while chasing the smugglers. Gopalganj Superintendent of Police Awadhesh Dixit said, “In an attempt to stop liquor smuggling, the jawan has given his martyrdom. A special team has been formed under the leadership of DSP rank officer for search and arrest of the accused.”
