The Sibrabad police of Hyderabad have achieved great success in the sensational robbery in the treasure jewelers located in Chandannagar. On August 12, 6 masked armed criminals entered the jewelery shop and fired on the sub-maning Satish Kumar, injuring his left leg. Criminals looted about 10 kg of silver jewelery, including silver.
The injured Satish was immediately admitted to the hospital. In this case, a case was registered in various sections under CR.NO.890/2025 at Chandannagar police station. The police, taking prompt action, arrested two main accused, Ashish Kumar Singh (22 years) and Deepak Kumar Sah (22 years), both residents of Saran district of Bihar.
Criminals from Bihar, made full plan
900 grams of silver jewelery was recovered during the investigation. The police have also identified seven other suspects, whose search is on. Investigation revealed that these criminals from Bihar had planned to target jewelery shops of gold and diamonds in Hyderabad.
Deepak Kumar Sah, who works as a welding work in Hyderabad, arranged for his comrades on 31 July 2025 in the Asbastus Colony of GDMetla, a rented house and two second-hand bikes. Subsequently, the gang raked several showrooms in Chandannagar and finally carried out the robbery in the treasury jewelers.
Ensure security arrangements during work time
Ashish Kumar Singh was arrested from Maharashtra, after which Deepak Kumar Sah was also detained on the basis of his information. This success was achieved by the joint action of Special Task Force (SOT), Central Crime Branch (CCS) and Law and Order (L&O) personnel under the leadership of Sibrabad Police Commissioner. The police have advised the management of jewelery shops to ensure adequate security arrangements during the work time and install an intraction alarm panels connected to the nearest police stations.
