Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to give two big road projects to Haryana on 17 August i.e. tomorrow. This includes two new forelane constructed at a cost of about 2 thousand crore rupees connecting Sonipat and Bahadurgarh. They better connectivity in these areas

Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini held a press conference in Chandigarh, confirming this. He informed that the Prime Minister will inaugurate 6 road projects costing about 11 thousand crores from Rohini in Delhi on August 17. Two of these projects are connected to Haryana. They will get the benefit of freedom from traffic jams and connectivity to NCR area.

Haryana will get these 2 big projects …

  • Traffic jam on NH-44 will be liberated: CM Naib Saini said that under the Urban Extension Road -2 project, the 29.6 km long route, built at a cost of Rs 1490 crore in Package -4, will give direct connectivity to Sonipat. This will give relief from heavy traffic jams of NH-44. This will provide new pace to trade and industry by connecting Bawana Industrial Area directly to NH -352 A Jind -Gohana route.
  • Road to Dichaun Kalan from Delhi to Bahadurgarh to Road: CM said that a 7.3 km route, built at a cost of Rs 487 crore in Package-5, will connect Dichaun Kalan in Delhi directly to Bahadurgarh and KMP Expressway. With this, Bahadurgarh and KMP Expressway will be easily reached. CM said that the inauguration of these projects will give a new dimension to industrial development, employment generation and traffic easyness in the region. Also, connectivity of major cities of Haryana from the National Capital Region will be strengthened.
  • This part of Dwarka Expressway will be inaugurated: Package I will inaugurate a 4.2 km PM from Shiv Murthy intersection to 5.9 km to Road Under Bridge (RUB) in Dwarka Sector-21 and Dwarka Sector-21 RUB to Delhi-Haryana border in Package II. The 19 km long Haryana section of the Dwarka Expressway was inaugurated by the Prime Minister in March 2024. Its biggest feature is 3.6 km long and 8 -lane width urban tunnel, which connects Dwarka and Yashobhoomi directly to the IGI airport.

CM said- PM’s special attachment to Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that these gifts given by the Prime Minister will prove to be a milestone in the Pragati Yatra of Haryana. He informed that new road projects will benefit not only Sonipat and Bahadurgarh, but also the surrounding districts. Naib Singh Saini said that the Prime Minister has a special connection with Haryana. Haryana has been getting the affection and blessings of the Prime Minister from time to time. He thanked the Prime Minister on behalf of 2 crore 80 lakh people of Haryana for approving major projects keeping in mind the interests of Haryana.

76 crore help to 2020 families During this period, Chief Minister Naib Saini provided financial assistance of Rs 76 crore to 2020 families today under Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Family Security Scheme (Dayalu). CM said, the government launched many such schemes, which are for the affected people due to any natural disaster disease etc.

Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Family Security Scheme started in Haryana from 1 April 2023. So far, financial assistance of Rs 1380 crore has been given to 36 thousand 651 families in this scheme. Earlier, assistance of Rs 118 crore was also released under this scheme. Financial assistance of up to Rs 5 lakh is provided for the death of a family member with annual income up to Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand.
