US President Donald Trump said that he is not currently considering imposing secondary sensations on Russia and its business partners. However, he also said that it can be considered again in the next 2 to 3 weeks. This is being seen as a relief for India.
In an interview to Fox News, Trump said that Alaska summit was successful after Putin talks on Ukraine War and he gave it 10 out of 10. He said that I may have to think on this (restrictions) in 2-3 weeks, but it is not needed immediately.
Trump further said that if I apply secondary senses now, it will be like havoc for him. However, he did not explain anything in detail about his further steps.
Let us know that Trump recently imposed an additional 25% fee on Indian products due to continuing oil purchases from Russia. This increased the total import duty (tariff) on India by 50%. Trump had warned those countries that buy oil from Russia that they can be imposed secondary sensations. China and India are at the top among those who buy oil from Russia.
India showed a mirror to America
A few days before the Alaska summit, Trump said that the punitive fee levied on India forced Russia to meet him, as Russia was losing its second largest customer. However, India made it clear that despite American threats, there has been no obstruction in Russian oil imports and also criticized America’s hypocritical policy.
Trump warned Putin
Trump had also warned Putin that if he did not agree to the peace agreement to end the Ukraine War, Russia would have to face very serious consequences. This war has now reached the fourth year.
Zelanceci advised to compromise
Despite a three -hour -long meeting, Trump and Putin in Alaska could not agree on the ceasefire in Ukraine. In a conversation with Fox News, Trump insisted that it is now the responsibility of Ukraine’s President Zelanski and European countries to compromise. He appealed to Zelancesi to compromise. Trump also indicated that there could be a possible agreement on the exchange of prisoners. He said that today he placed a list of thousands of prisoners in front of me, which will be released.
