PM Modi in Andhra Pradesh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday (January 08, 2025) laid the foundation stone and inaugurated several development projects worth more than Rs 2 lakh crore in Andhra Pradesh. The aim of these projects is to boost the infrastructure, economy and connectivity of the state.

At the foundation stone laying ceremony in Visakhapatnam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “After a gap of 60 years, a government has been elected for the third time in the country and this is my first official program after the formation of the government and the wonderful welcome you gave, the way people welcomed me today.” He was blessing me on the way and N Chandrababu Naidu has hit all the sixes in his speech. I respect the spirit of his every word and I assure the people of Andhra Pradesh that today. Together we will definitely achieve the goals that Chandrababu is expressing.”

PM Modi’s road show

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a small road show with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. During this time, people gathered in large numbers and showered flowers on the leaders. PM Modi also greeted him by shaking his hand.

The entire route was decorated with party flags of TDP, BJP and Janasena. Starting from Sampath Vinayak Temple, the road show reached the Engineering College Ground of Andhra University. It was here that PM Modi addressed the people.

Which projects did PM Modi inaugurate?

During this, PM Modi virtually laid the foundation stone of many projects and also inaugurated many projects. This includes works like NTPC’s integrated green hydrogen hub at Pudimadaka in Anakapalle district, bulk drug park at Nakkapalli and doubling of railways.
